Also, what cartridge/needle this turntable uses/where to purchase? any other numbers or descriptors on it except for Philips Electronic. the stylus has yet to break in :thumbsdn: (plus it is ONLY a philips gp mk III. spherical as far can i can tell:thumbsdn:) the phono sockets.

It's very sticky and was up to around 1mm thick in places, the only thing that is bringing it off is petrol albeit slowly. I used it right up until last year, when I got my own turntable.

Bump for more help! Back in the seventies the GA and GA had some good reviews and were reputed to sound pretty decent. I loved this table! What I'm wondering about this old turntable is if it was a pretty decent one back in the day.
