Charge lasts a few days with light transmitting, and seeemingly forever with just monitoring. I will be keeping this one for quite a while. I've used it for many programming updates and revisions for the radios, with great ease and success.

Next radio buy myself for half a year.
Now I have it set up for my entire region. Effective immediately we will be deleting, without notice, any negative threads or posts that deal with the use of encryption and streaming of scanner audio. I tried several things, without success.  The is a great little 2m radio. I'm not sure what Mil-Spec standards this radio is supposed to meet, but it's a crock of dung on the hardiness front |

Radio was very respectednever fall gently deposited only in the home, non-stop in one place does not move.
I finally got it all sorted out properly, but it really had me going for a while there. I will be keeping this one for quite a while. Then I downloaded the memories from the FTR into the software, so I could manipulate it, and saw to my amazement, that it had deleted all the subtone settings I am a police officer and always have a Ham HT in my patrol car with the local repeaters in it, monitoring the main 2 meter repeater throughout my shift.
